EM P EM P TS IN YABILITY PO LO 10 (All students) Tom Christian served in a number of Part-Time Officer roles in Kent Union before becoming Vice-President Education then Union President between 2007 and 2009. He then co-led the student wing of the Labour Party before joining Labour's Digital Unit in 2010. He now focuses on building Labour's digital image and manages film production for the Party. He will be talking about how his experiences as a Kent Union Officer helped shape the communication skills he uses today including how a tactic employed in a Kent Union election was used to create one of Labour's most effective pieces of on-line content.
