Domestic PVC market (thou tons)

? In 2012, PVC production in Poland's sole production facility in Wloclawek (owned by Anwil) declined by 8% y/y to 282 thousand tons. ? Last year, exports decreased by 4 thousand tons, while imports were down by 10 thousand tons. Key importers (thou tons)

? In 2007-2008, Poland's PVC consumption exceeded 400 thousand tons annually, but in 2009-2012, it remained in the range of 250-290 thousand tons.
? Anwil is exporting part of its production (the largestrecipient is Turkey while exports to Belarus and Italy are growing), but imports are nearly twice as large.
