Introduction: The history of Holocaust. Development: The students have to learn about the Holocaust and the methods of Germany against the Jews. Tools: Pictures, PC (pour point). 3 rd, 4th lessons: Drama techniques Introduction: The teacher explains to the students that they are going to use some theatrical techniques during the lesson. Development: The students are divided in groups. The students in groups co-operate and they play the roles that the teacher gave to them. Use drama techniques Conscience Alley A character has a dilemma with 2 possible outcomes. Steps Scheduling activities , who do what, times, tools, assess They walk down on alleyway of other actors who represent the two sides of their conscience. Each side will try to verbally persuade the character to side with them as they pass each individual. A range of different viewpoints and arguments are presented for a character to make a choice. One alley was German students and the other Jews students from different countries. The student who walks down has to decide with whom he will choose to go. Freeze frames. A group freezes in a particular pose as if they have been captured in a photograph allowing the audience to reflect on a specific moment. I gave them 3 photographs (1.arrested Jews 2. Executions 3. Crystal nights . Then I asked them to feel and to show us the icon on the amount of tension the image capture. Hot seating I asked for my students to imagine that they are Jews students and tell me how they feel while they were sitting down in two cyclically groups. as Jews arrested people. Result: They can understand and feel better the feelings of Jews and Prevailing conditions. Tools: pc and…. the imagination of students.
