To use drama within this Art Unit
While teaching the stencil art you could use active learning using
drama in the following way
Art drama Assignment:
1. Let the students make portraits using stencil art
2. Let the students prepare a short scene where they imagine that their
portraits become characters and imagine them to come “alive.’”
Make pairs and let the characters create a scene where they have an
interesting 5 minutes talk about: politics, music, youth issues, family
life, discrimination, pollution, the future etc. The scene could be
anywhere, anytime in the past or future in a bar, on a beach, a
schoolyard etc
