But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.
Matthew 6:33, AMP
So perhaps you are tired and weary, but the Master says, “come to Him all those who are tired and weary.” We cannot lie down our cross now. Our children, neighbors, communities and nation need our prayers. We are in a spiritual battle. Lace your boots, wipe your sweat, open your mouth, and join in the cause for Christ. Our line of communication to the Lord is open as much as we want to use it. Getting more of God, His power, His fire, His anointing and gifts is left up to us. It’s up to us to ask and seek. He is ready to give what you need and what you desire. It must be in His timing. His timing prepares us, humbles us, and teaches us to trust in Him. Speak to the Lord. Then quiet yourself and listen to Him.
After he has gathered his own flock, he walks ahead of them, and they follow him because they know his voice.
John 10:4, NLT
I am the good shepherd; I know my own sheep, and they know me, just as my Father knows me and I know the Father. So I sacrifice my life for the sheep. I have other sheep, too, that are not in this sheepfold. I must bring them also. They will listen to my voice, and there will be one flock with one shepherd.
John 10:14-16, NLT
