Fall Sports Seasons Wrap Up By : Arianna Striniste
ENFIELD--Enfield High School has many different offers for sports and clubs . Some of EHS fall sports are : Cross Country , Football , Soccer , Field Hockey , Swimming ( Girls ), and Volleyball ( Girls ). Some winter sports are Basketball , Ice Hockey , Swimming ( Boys ), Wrestling , and Indoor Track . The spring sports are Baseball , Softball , Golf , Tennis , Lacrosse ( Girls ), Lacrosse ( Boys ), Track & Field , and Volleyball ( Boys ).
Soccer season ended on November 7 th . Boys ’ soccer team lost state playoffs to Shelton . The score was 7-2 .
“ We did better than last year , but we could ’ ve done a lot better . We ’ ll do better next season .” Said varsity player Michael Calabrese .

Football season wrapped up on Thanksgiving ’ s Eve . Prior to Thanksgiving the team had a continuation game ( the game started September 10 th but was suspended in the first quarter ) against Woodstock Academy . The team won 42-13 . Christian Benvenuto had a strong night and had a promising season as the quarterback .
The Freshman team finished with two wins . The last Freshman game , which the sophomores had joined , was an amazing game . The score was 21-20 , with Ethan Buonanducci tying up the score 20-20 with an amazing touchdown . JV ’ s past game was a good win for the team .
