high school student talent and reinforce the importance of business sponsorship for this outstanding educational program , and to introduce new members to FIRST Robotics Competition .
The teamwork at the event was something that most seemed to enjoy .
“ My favorite part of Bash at the Beach was getting to cheer on Buzz and getting to know other teams in the area ! During Bash , I felt really excited and at the edge of my seat , in a good way ” said freshman Colleen Lasoff .
The Buzz members of 2022 made the robot used this year at Bash , named Davis . Davis was made with intention to pick up oversized tennis balls and shoot them into a large funnel called the hub .

In total , about 17 teams from Connecticut went to Bash . Even though we were not able to make it to the finals , we were able to win the Spirit Award for best team spirit !
