Price Tipping Credits His
Success Largely to EFSC
Programs and Professors!
Tipping is the fi rst EFSC bachelor’s degree graduate to be accepted
into the University of South Florida’s Morsani College of Medicine
since the school added a new BAS in Applied Health Sciences in 2014.
He also credits performing and presenti ng his own research which
he feels was very useful when applying to USF. In the end he wants
future students, staff and faculty to know that med school is a real
possibility for EFSC students. Tipping’s new journey began in 2016
and was marked by the traditi onal USF White Coat Ceremony.
Did you know… Tipping was a classic rock radio DJ
before he even dreamed of a career in healthcare. It was upon his
move to Florida with his wife that his vision for the future became
clear.
Salute to Gus Gorin
We salute Gus Gorin who was able to accelerate completi on of the
FAA-certi fi ed Airframe and Power-plant (A&P) program because of
his prior training as a jet engine mechanic while on acti ve duty with
the U.S. Navy followed by fi ve years in the reserves.
