Page 4 Foundation Newsletter GIVING BACK EFSC president Dr. Jim Richey accepts a $25,000 donation from Cape Design Engineering, Sami Mized, Peggy & Lufti Mized, Kannan Rengarajan and Rama Kannan, during the EFSC Foundation Board of Directors meeting L ong time Eastern Florida State College supporters Cape Design Engineering Co. wanted to celebrate their company’s 20 years of business by giving back to the community. The result was a $25,000 scholarship to the EFSC Foundation that will provide scholarships to students at EFSC’s new Health Sciences Institute on the Melbourne campus. The endowment will be invested by the Foundation with the earnings used for scholarships in perpetuity. To be eligible, students must be a Florida resident, enrolled full time in their program of study at the EFSC Health Sciences Institute and maintain a 3.5 GPA. Thank you Cape Design Engineering!
