• Improved Campus Tours/Open House programs to recruit more high school students and provide them
and their parents with additional information on the college’s new programs and opportunities. (Student

• Began a series of yearlong security workshops with faculty and staff to provide information on
strengthened campus security measures and the college’s emergency notification system that is used in

• Continued EFSC branding campaign with installation of large outside wall images and banners on all four

• Delivered “State of the College” address to students, faculty and staff at the Simpkins Center (also
streamed live on the college’s Website) updating them on EFSC’s progress and outlining priorities that
include holding the line on tuition and increasing financial aid. (Student Enrollment, Employee Relations,

• Received perfect audit from the Florida Auditor General on all college operations, showing full
compliance with all required regulations and procedures. (Financial Management)
• Received $1.5 million federal grant to build a state-of-the-art cyber security lab on the Palm Bay
campus to instruct students taking new BAS and AS programs in this fast-growing job field. (Financial

egan renovation of Melbourne Campus auditorium that was completed in summer for use for
academic and student purposes and community events sponsored by the college. (Student Enrollment,

• Began new “Build Your Future” marketing campaign across all media platforms (TV, digital, social media,
print, radio) for student recruitment and retention with focus on new BAS and AS programs in Business,

• Eastern Florida student Kayla Duchaine named “Top Scholar” on the All-Florida Academic Team with
three other EFSC students also made the 109 member All Florida Academic Team, highlighting the high
