• Held EFSC Foundation’s second annual “Scholarship Golf Invitational and Ball Drop” with community
partners, raising $100,000 for student scholarships. (Student Enrollment, Diversity Initiatives, Employee

• Worked closely with UCF President, John Hitt and other “Direct-Connect” Partner Presidents to
successfully map strategy, including execution of upgraded operating agreement, for continued transfer
opportunities to UCF for eligible EFSC students. Celebrated 10 year anniversary of UCF Direct-Connect
Partnership with John Hitt at the UCF campus.
• Met with NASA’s Kennedy Space Center Director Bob Cabana to discuss closer EFSC-KSC ties, including
more KSC internships for students in a range of areas as NASA moves closer to launching the next-

egan construction of final phase of the Melbourne Campus Sports Complex with ground broken for
new softball field and additional parking lot to provide more student and staff parking and parking

• Nationally ranked Men’s and Women’s soccer teams both reach NJCAA National Championship
Tournaments after highly successful seasons, with women finishing as national runner-up. (Student

• H
osted the NJCAA Women’s National Soccer Championship Tournament for the fifth year on the
Melbourne campus, with visitors injecting an estimated $1 million into the local economy. (Student

• More than 2,000 website page changes edited and published throughout the year to keep the site
updated with the latest information on academic programs and college events and operations. (Student
Enrollment, Employee Relations, Public Awareness)
• Spoke to the Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce about the college’s new initiatives, including academic
programs, business partnerships and campus expansions, as part of effort to continue building grass-
roots support for the college’s expanding mission. (Community Relations, Public Awareness)

• Completed new Strategic Plan for 2016-19 to guide college growth with focus on student academic
success, career and workforce initiatives and increasing revenue. (Student Enrollment, Diversity
