• Brought the Orlando City Soccer Club to the college in an agreement to base its United Soccer
League team at the Titan Soccer Complex on the Melbourne campus, bringing professional soccer to
Brevard County and more than $2.1 million annual economic boost to the local economy. (Financial

• Launched Performing Funding Task Force comprised of college and community leaders to improve
the college’s performance in four key areas – job placement/continuing education, completion rates,
retention rates, entry level wages - and better position EFSC to receive additional funds from the Florida

• Hired new Director of Alumni-Donor Relations for the EFSC Foundation in a reorganization to improve
fundraising and planned giving for student scholarships. (Financial Management, Community Relations)
• S trengthened college-wide security with the installation of an expanded security camera system on all
four campus in another step to increase protections for students, faculty and staff. (Employee Relations)
• Received accreditation approval from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools for new
Associate in Science Degrees in Industrial Management Technology, and Human Services. Received
programmatic approval for Respiratory Therapy and Veterinary Technology. (Student Enrollment,

eceived award from Patrick Air Force Base for course offerings that provide more educational
opportunities for active duty personnel stationed there. (Student Enrollment, Community Relations)
• Increased use of the college’s social media platforms throughout the year to promote EFSC academic
programs and coverage of student life and events, including the expanded use of platforms such as
Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. (Student Enrollment, Public Awareness)

• Received FAA approval for January 2015 launch of the new Aviation Maintenance Technician Program
at college’s new Aviation Center at Melbourne International Airport; program will serve as pipeline
to provide skilled workers to airport’s growing commercial aviation sector; demonstrates college
partnerships with business to help spur job-creation and economic growth. (Student Enrollment,

• Career Planning and Development Center surpasses 46,000 students who have received career guidance
service since it opened in 2012, providing more resources to help students enter the job market.

• Replaced 2,000 desktop computers throughout the year as part of continuing college-wide plan to
upgrade technology infrastructure to improve efficiency and productivity. (Employee Relations)
