ancer. Not one positive word
comes to mind when thinking
about it. Today cancer is one of
the most widespread and dangerous
diseases, taking lives and breaking up
families daily. One third of us will get it at
some point. Either is it not just one type
of disease, and it certainly isn’t just one
cure to cure it all. There are over 200
different types of cancer, with so many
causes which have not been identified
yet. When it comes to the cure – it doesn’t
even exist. Treatment, yes, but to cure

cancer is still, unfortunately, impossible.
Some countries around the world have
free health care. A good family friend of
mine was diagnosed with cancer a couple
years ago, and has since then gone
through a variety of different treatments.
None of them has worked, and he got
better for a while before getting even
worse. Today he receives treatment worth
over £5000 per dose. Because he is lucky
enough to live in Norway, he doesn’t pay
much for that (well, if you look away from
