तू मंिदर वहां खड़ा है और हम मिस्जद भी यहीं रहे
पर हमपे िमटने वाले वो इं सान कहाँ गए ?
इन िमटटी के खंडहरों में अब कोई फकर् नहीं करता
मेरा मौला कहाँ गया तेरे पंिडत कहाँ गए
ये रंग कौनसा है, इसको गाड़े या फूंक दें ?
वो सरहद कहाँ गई , वो मज़हब कहाँ गए
Wherever there is a
traditional Bengali
community, be it a
village, small town or
city, there is always a
potters quarter.
And in Kolkata it is
known as Kumortuli,
which is situated at the
northern fringes of the
city on the banks of
the Ganges.
