Great Ocean Road Region China Host Program
Over the past five years, Warrnambool and the
Great Ocean Road region have experienced a
significant increase in the number of Chinese
visitors.
Warrnambool’s City Centre Renewal Business
Support Plan was the vital link in ensuring that
economic activity and consumer confidence was
maintained during the disruptive construction period.
The Great Ocean Road Region China Host
program equips tourism businesses with the
cultural intelligence and practical tools to host the
growing number of Chinese visitors.
China Host saw 15 businesses from across the
Great Ocean Road region participate in a series
of interactive modules. Along the journey the
participants implemented real change in their
businesses and created strong professional and
personal partnerships. The region now has a
network of China-ready businesses!

The Griffith Now Hiring Program aims to attract
skilled workers to Griffith with the key message
focusing on Griffith’s innovative workplaces,
industries and enviable lifestyle. The project aims
to educate the audiences on what living in Griffith is
like and the various employment opportunities.
