INTERVIEW WITH ROMANIAN TEAM COORDINATOR

1.Dear teacher, all the stories start with ,,Once upon a time...”When has the Erasmus+ become a
reality?
The Erasmus+ story startedin 2015 , when some teachers had met on E-twinning platform and their
friendship was the foundation of the project ,,All equal, all different, all Europeans taking eco-friendly
actions”.
2.Weremember the day when your seventh grade children pupils were looking forward to chatting
with their new friends from Portugal, Spain,Turkey, etc. What was their parents’reaction?
All the parents enjoyed the idea of building a bridge of friendship between different cultures and
countries and they were interested in Eco activities due to the place we live in, a beautiful resort
surounded by virgin forests and the wonderful lake Amara ,itsterapeutic properties being welknown
in Romania.
6.Could you describe us some project activities?
At the same time, our children were interested in foreign learning system, they wanted to know their
new friends’ schedule,the school subjects,the leisure activities.Every evening they used to contact
eachother on SKYPE and to chat about music, movies and many other interests.
My students were involved in multiple activities such as celebrating the Earth Day on 22nd April
.They discussed how to save the planet we live on,because, nowdays , the fight for a clean
environment continues with increasing urgency, as the ravages of climate change become more
manifest every day. We were very proud because our photo was selected for the August page in
the National E-Twinning Calendar.
