Because all the children want to visit their new friends’ countries, some teachers were determined to seek development and expansion of the E-twinning project in a Erasmus + strategic partnership.
Therefore, it was born the idea of the Erasmus + project,,, ECO Friendly Action”. 2. What other similar experiences have you had?
I was member in the team of the another Erasmus + project Building potencial of school in areas of healthy lifestyle and protecting environment the way of balanced students ' development and I had the opportunity to visit Poland and Greek. It was an amazing experience that helped me to understand different foreign learning systems, different religions, to discover unity in diversity. After this project, I searched for another Erasmus + team, but their project wasn’ t selected.
4. Why have you not quit? We know that drafting a project requires much effort, time and dedication.
I would like to thank my friends for their guidance and support, I am eternally grateful for everything they’ ve taught me. On the other way, I couldn’ t dissapoint them and my children. I also did it for our school, because we aspire to European School Certificate and to the Green Flag.
5. What did you feel when you saw our school name among the winner strategic partnerships? Firstly, I was very excited and proud of my hard work. Then, I was conscious of having a team is the secret of the succes and I would like to tell my collegues I really appreciate all the hard work they’ ve done to help me.
6. What activities have you coordinated?
We had the pleasure of being th We succeed to respect the schedule and we realized the project posters exhibition, we organizen a selection for the project slogan and our students enjoyed the experience of singing a Turkish song, the ECOanthem which is a wellknown touching story of a seed growing up and becoming a forest. Our pupils learned to calculate the Carbon Footprint and to plant some carob trees e host for the first transnational meeting. on 08 / 12 / 2016 to 09 / 10
The project coordinators settled down the tasks for each team and discussed about the next project activities. Each partner presented an intermediate raport of the activities which were organized in their school. 8. What do you think about the impact this project has onto students and their parents? But onto your colleagues?
Erasmus experience is considered both a time for learning as well as a chance to socialise. It’ s time to open our hearts and minds towards Europe, to have a respectful and tolerant attitude towards cultural differences.
10. When is the next meeting organised and what school will you be visiting? What are your expectations? The first students’ mobility is organized in Estonia, on 02.04.2017- 08.04.2017
We are looking forward to meeting our friends and visiting a small country of 1.3 million people which is famous for its 5 national parks. The Estonian capital Tallinn might be best known for
