Interview with Hikmet Özay, headmaster
1- Which kind of diffrences did you see among the Erasmus students?
After this project our students' perspective on life changed in positive way also those
students' determination and success increased.
2- What did this project contribute into our school?
Firstly,scientific and technological impact has had on our students in charge. With these
projects our school reached an important place among İzmir schools.
3- Do you feel happy when our school runs projects like that?
It makes me really happy because we educator our first aim is trying to decide our students
goals and educate them about how they can reach the goals which they choose.
4- Why did you become a teacher?
The most sacred proffesion is teaching because raising the future generations and watching
them coming good places gives a great feeling. Besides,the most valuable asset of the
students we raise is they know ataturk's principles and turkish revolution and by that way
they become a citizen who loves his/her country with no doubt to protect it
5-How did you benefit from this project?
The contribution of the erasmus project is that the students learn new things and our
students teachers and our school gets presented to other countries.The thing that atarurk
said "there's no sacrifise in education" gives us motivation more than ever
