There will be a prom king and queen and the student council will present awards . School rules still apply and anyone in violation of the rules could be removed from the dance .

The Bear Uses His Claws By : Anthony Martinez ENFIELD--- Enfield High School senior wrestler Keonta Crawford won the Class LL tournament and the Connecticut state championship at the 285-pound weight class this past February to become the first wrestler in the new Enfield High School era to win the tournament . As a result of winning the Class Opens , Crawford went on to compete at the New
England Wrestling Championships the following week . Crawford placed 5 th in the regional tournament making him the 5 th best heavy weight wrestler in New England . Crawford plans to attend Castleton State University next year and continue his wrestling career while studying sports science as a major .
Crawford began wrestling his freshman year , but the season was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic . The team was able to do conditioning drills in masks , lift weights , and do some non-contact activities . It was not a great introduction for a young wrestler into a new sport .
During his sophomore season he started varsity and had a decent year , competing well at the conference tournament and in conference play , but his breakout season was as a junior .
