Fly Eagles Fly By : Allen Aceituno ENFIELD — The Enfield Eagles boys basketball team finished the regular season with a record of 9-11 before falling out in the first round of the state tournament in a hard-fought battle versus Stamford .
The Eagles needed eight wins to qualify for the tournament and on their last home game of the season they beat a strong South Windsor team 54-43 .
At the start of the season there were big question marks for the Eagles . The roster was young and there were key losses from the previous seniors ’ graduations .
