Get into Caribbean Fashion Week 2005 Kingston, Jamaica, the fashion capital of the Caribbean will play host to the 5th annual Caribbean Fashion Week at The Pegasus and The Hilton hotels from 8th–12th June 2005. For four days and nights, New Kingston and its surrounding areas is transformed into a festive world stage celebrating the very best of the Caribbean’s Fashion Industry. The event kicks off with its yearly Opening Gala. There will be a three day Designer Exhibition, nightly shows, special events and after show parties. Nokia Urban Music Festival With The Prince’s Trust Line-Up Announced In the first artist line-up announced for Nokia Urban Music Festival with The Prince’s Trust, the youth charity has confirmed some of the UK’s leading urban artists to perform. The UK’s largest celebration of urban music and culture at Earls Court on 16 and 17 April 2005 will feature, amongst others, eleven artists who represent the cream of British urban talent. Craig David returns to reclaim his crown as the prince of UK urban music, while 2004’s MOBO winner Estelle marks her first performance as a Prince’s Trust Ambassador. Jay Sean, Kano, Keisha White, Blak Twang, Jamie Scott, Mitchell Brothers, Kevin Mark Trail, Sway and Terri Walker have also been confirmed. A second line up, including US and UK artists, will be announced shortly. The Festival, the largest urban music event the UK has ever seen, will showcase international urban artists and rising stars from both sides of the Atlantic, alongside a host of MC’s, Bboys, music producers and streetdance crews from the UK.
