The GreenPoint Rated Index will be entered into the Energy Inputs tab of the Existing Home Single Family or Existing Home Multifamily Data Collection Form, and the points will be calculated based on the achieved index. VERIFICATION Field Verification: The Rater will determine compliance using the GreenPoint Rated module of the EnergyPro software. The Rater will verify that the project passes the GreenPoint Rated Index threshold. Points will be calculated in the Data Collection Form. Documentation: The GPR-1R will be submitted to Build It Green.

REVIEW AND ANALYZE UTILITY BILLS

CRITERIA FOR QUALIFICATION One point of credit is available for gathering one to two years of utility bills and analyzing their use patterns. Refers to protocols and worksheets on the Existing Home Rater website for a proper analysis and review of the energy bills. Use the GreenPoint Rated Existing Home Field Data Sheet to input utility bill information. Interview the homeowner to develop information on home operations and occupant behavior. The interview can consist of any of the following; ? ? ? ? A home energy questionnaire filled out by the homeowner/building operator before the Rater arrives A home energy questionnaire filled out by the Rater in an interview with the homeowner/tenants A discussion with the homeowner/building operator on how their bills relate to their use patterns A walkthrough of the home/building with the homeowner/building owner, including a discussion of home operations and how they relate to utility bulls, comfort, and health.
