ownhouse Farm, an organic farm on the
National Trust’s beautiful Golden Cap
estate, is run by Nikki and Dean Exton, who
produce fine beef, lamb and pork, and run a cafe
and campsite. The farm is a haven for wildlife
with stunning wildflower meadows alive with
butterflies, insects and birds. Criss-crossed by
footpaths, it’s a great place for a walk. e are a well established, family-run farming
business in the heart of Purbeck, rearing
our animals to stringent welfare standards and
producing high quality meat. Our on-farm butchery
produces lamb, beef, pork, bacon, gammon,
venison, sausages and burgers; selling direct from
our butchery or through local box deliveries; and
through selected local stores, farm shops, pubs
and cafes.

ower Chapel Marsh Farm is ancient farm, men-
tioned in the Domesday Book and a haven for
wildlife. It runs on sunshine from solar panels and
harvested springwater. The Farm produces lamb
and veal and also supplies hogget and mutton. The
Little Tin Kitchen uses the meats, eggs and farm
produce to make delicious pies, pasties, quiches
and other tasty goodies. Traditional meals such as
shepherd’s pie, Granny Hook’s Beef Stew, steak and
kidney pie/pudding etc. are all available to order.
We also have a selection of shearling and ready-
to-knit lamb’s wool and sheepskins.
