call to action. Introduce what you want them to know, then tell
them the full facts, and then conclude by explaining what
you’ve just told them in a quick concise way.
Plan Your Video Sequence
Don’t start shooting a video without a clear outline to follow.
The result will most likely be rambling and it won’t be effective
at all.
Instead, plan out the sequence of your video ahead of time.
Here is the general outline you should follow.
1. Introduction
During the first few seconds of your video, introduce yourself.
This is the moment where you say, “Hi, my name is Bob. You
can find me online at bobsmith.com.”
This is also a good time to invite them to connect through
social media. Mention your Facebook page or invite them to
follow you on Twitter.
2. Convince Them to Keep Watching
Right after you introduce yourself, tell them why they need to
watch the video and how long it’s going to take. You could
say, “If you’ve ever suffered from acne, I’m about to tell you
how I ditched my bad skin and got an amazing complexion in
just 2 weeks.”
Then follow up with a disclaimer about how long your video
