Where can people find out more about the band? Jeroen : Well, obviously the regular places like facebook and our homepage (www.facebook.com/ izegrim or www.izegrim.com). We are always keen on receive messages, so drop us a line and we’ll be happy to answer all your questions ! What are your goals for the future? Where do you hope to be in 2 years? Jeroen: Short term: first we have to promote the album and do a shitload of gigs in Europe to meet some new fans and having a good time ! Playing live is the best way to promote our product, and we just love to play live. Long term: At the moment we’ve started writing again. But we take our time. This will not mean that there will be a next album within 1 year, haha. Where all will end ? I don’t know. With Listenable we have a strong partner and we hope the best for the future of Izegrim. You can trust me, we are working our asses off to make it a bright and prosperous future. What recording studio do you use? Jeroen : We went to the Soundlodge Studio i n Germany. We already recorded our previous album there. He has a great reputation. He recorded, mixed and mastered the of God Dethroned and also worked on albums of Dew-Scented. Not small and unknown names in the metal-scene. I can only agree to all the bands that have recorded at Soundlodge: its fucking perfect !! The way Jörg worked with us was excellent. He’s so laid back and relaxed, unbelievable. I guess you have to be, having bands around you all the time, haha ! In terms of technique and recordingskills he’s definately one of the best. If i grabbed your Ipod from you, what would i find you listening to right now? Jeroen : My most recent bought cd’s would include Annihilator, Death Angel and the live-dvd from Kreator. Ofcourse you’ll find some good oldschool deathmetal of Entombed, Entrails, Asphyx. How would you define "success" for the band ? Marloes : A stable line-up (which we have for 5 years now) defines succes for me. Apparently everyone in the band is happy and finds his/her needs within the band. Ofcourse, gigs are also a good scale to measure succes. We don’t have any complaints. We share the stage with all the big names in the genre (for instance Death Angel, Sabaton, Accept, Desctruction etc etc). If you’s asked me that 4 years ago, I’d probable laughed at you. And look at us now ; sharing the same stages with some of our heros, great isn’t it ?
