Armstrong Street, also in the city of Fairfax. Historic Blenheim is an 1859 central-hall plan Greek Revival-style brick farmhouse built for Albert and Mary Willcoxon just before the Civil War (1861-65). It is nationally significant for the voluminous quantity and quality of examples of Civil War inscriptions. More than 125 signatures, pictographs, games, and thoughts were left on the house walls by Union soldiers during their occupation of the Fairfax Court House area in 1862-63. They offer FREE guided house tours!

This next FREE attraction is the Cherry Hill Farmhouse located at 312 Park Avenue, in the city of Falls Church. Enjoy a day of old-fashioned fun and activities for the whole family, including a petting farm, pony rides, pumpkin painting, scarecrow making, live music, tours of the Cherry Hill Farmhouse and barn, blacksmith demonstrations, reenactments, and more.

FREE Freeman Store and Museum

the Freeman historic country store selling Virginia crafts, Vienna souvenirs & pottery, notecards by local artists, local history books, old-fashioned toys, and candy. The former living space on the second floor contains a late 1800s merchant or middle-class family parlor and dining room, and a FREE museum room for changing exhibits. FREE parking is available across the street from the Freeman Store and Museum, and FREE two-hour parking spots line the street on both sides.
