At the moment of presenting Him to God, Simeon shared revelations in Luke 2:34-35 with the help of the Holy Spirit about what would happen to her and her son. You like Mary can be TRANSFORMED BY WORSHIP TO GOD and thirdly become…

III.A WOMAN TRANSFORMED BY EXAMPLING GOD

A.Her Transformed EXPECTANCY was based on looking above circumstances because of Jesus (Matt. 2:11-14). Just like hell could not get to Jesus’ home here in Matt. 2:13, neither can he get to your home when you have Jesus there. So, this month as we honor Mothers and the Military...act on His promise! Go after Jesus’ saving grace. Order fear, disappointment, sorrow, and Satan out of your home and life! Mary did that dependent on God and the fact they went to Egypt for Jesus’ toddler years only fulfilled what Hosea 11:1, prophesied: “Out of Egypt I called My Son”. How grateful she was when her expectant prayers were answered in Matt. 2:20 “Those who sought the Child’s life are dead”. Mary knew the promises made to Jewish fathers (Luke 1:50-53), and quotes here word-for-word two Scriptures (Psalms 103:17 and 107:9). Her knowledge of what God has said motivated Mary to take God at His Word! That’s how Mary handled a painful donkey ride over 100 miles to Bethlehem, the cruelty of impatient, angry crowds, tax men, Roman soldiers, and Herod’s men along the way. That’s how you can get through the pain and circumstances you are facing! God has big plans for you! Further…

B.Her Transformed DEDICATION is demonstrated because of Jesus (Luke 2:7, 21-23). She named her son Jesus because the Angel said by this Name “God will save His people from their sins” (Matt. 1:21). She was uniquely impacted
