when my Mom instilled Jesus in me. Mary in John 2:5 shows this great quality when she said to servants at Cana “Whatever He says to you, do it.” My mom tried to example that Jesus was able to meet our needs, and you Moms need to know that Jesus can do a miracle at your house!
C.Her travail and comfort by Jesus at the Cross (John 19:25-27). Mary can sympathize with the travailing mothers today who have faced standing up for their children. On that dark Friday, Mary watched as her Jesus, the baby she had given birth to – was whipped and mutilated beyond recognition, stripped, mocked, and nailed to a cross! Amid Jesus’ words of comfort “Woman behold your son, son behold your mother..." there was still the sting of death. Some of your mothers have experienced death. But I’m here to tell you, Jesus came out of that tomb three days later. The cross did not shake Mary, and the grave did not hold her son! She found comfort in her travail in the fact that because He lives, we must gain the Promise of the Spirit and in Acts 1:14 was "joined together constantly in prayer along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus and with his brothers..." Thirty-three years after Jesus’ birth, Mary was right where she was supposed to be with Jesus and His power the focus of her entire being! It’s time for Moms to cry out when a generation is messing with our children’s minds as to sexual “preference”, drugs, gangs, etc. We are in a spiritual war. A sodomite spirit from hell has been unleashed that must be silenced! I call Moms today to pray, reclaim your home and renew your hope using the life of Mary.
(Pray this Out loud) “God I take you at your Word…I believe you want to bless me and my house. I claim Jesus and His
who he was to become, Luke says in Luke 2:19 "But Mary treasured up (protective keeping) all these things and pondered them in her heart..." Esteem comes from understanding destiny, and Mary appears to have helped here! You too need to protect your child’s purpose, value system, dreams, and hope! Moms can motivate us to action with their words! So, speak destiny and purpose over your children. From my childhood:

2.My mother taught me RELIGION: "You better pray that will come out of the carpet."
3.My Mother taught me how to BECOME AN ADULT: "If you don’t eat your vegetables, you’ll never grow up."
5.My Mother taught me about the WISDOM OF AGING: "When you get to be my age, you will understand."
6.My Mother taught me about GENETICS: "You’re just like your father."
7.My Mom taught me LOGIC: "Because I said so, that’s why."
8.My Mother taught me about JUSTICE: "One day you’ll have kids and I hope they turn out like you, so you’ll see what it’s like."
