Let the Spirit CONNECT your Will to God’s Will.
Until our will is aligned to God’s will, it is difficult to stay in Revival. But Romans 8 says as you are “led by the Spirit of God” (v. 14), the Holy Spirit connects our will to experience the fullness of God.
III. BE OPEN TO CHANGE AND GREATER PURPOSE IN GOD
God calls us out FROM worldliness and pride.
You know you need Revival when the Passion for Jesus no longer drives you! You know you need Revival when the Presence of the Spirit no longer convicts
you. Jesus said in John 16:8-9 “When He (the Spirit) comes, He will convict the world concerning sin…v. 13 when He, the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth”. With this in mind: We can’t be the same because we’ve been convicted and our flesh (Gal. 2:20) “has been crucified and we no longer live because Christ now lives in us.”
God calls us TO Himself to be revived.
You know you need Revival when Temptation away from God’s Word and back to the World attracts you! You can save yourself heartache if you will stop, confess and turn to Jesus the very moment you feel yourself growing cold and starting to stray from the Revival you once enjoyed!
