SPIRITUALITY AND FAITH

impossible with God”, it means NOTHING! So, go ahead and pray BIG prayers for your Christmas miracle! Don’t limit God. Listen for God’s instructions, as Mary did! Mary knew that God’s incredible promises to her were impossible without a miracle, and Gabriel explained how the miracle would occur: “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you” (Luke 1:35).

In a similar way, God wants His power to “overshadow” whatever difficult situation you face today. A health crisis? A family conflict? A financial setback? No matter what you are dealing with, God can give you victory by His supernatural favor. So, I ask you…

1. What miracle do you need in your life?

2. What step of faith and obedience is the Lord asking you to DO?

God has a higher and greater way to accomplish things in your life. Don’t limit Him! Respond like Mary in Luke 1:38, “Let it be to me according to your word”. You see, God wanted to do miracles in Mary’s life, but it was crucial for her to submit her life to Him and obey His directives. In the same way …Trust God to prevail, for secondly…

YOU CAN EXPERIENCE THE MIRACLE

OF GOD’S PARDON IN YOUR LIFE

A. God can help you get beyond the pain and limits of your past to get the purpose God has for your future! It says in Matt. 1:20-21, “But when he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, ‘Joseph son of

David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, for the Child who has been conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit…you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins! ”Praise God for this fact, for from the beginning of time, man has offered sacrifices, and has done rituals to receive God’s pardon. No wonder John writes in I John 1:9 and 3:1, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness…See how great a love the Father has lavished on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we ARE!”

B. God can help you get beyond fear to get into faith for your future! Mary must have been stunned and somewhat fearful when the angel Gabriel in Luke 1:28 appeared one day and told her, “Greetings, favored one! The Lord is with you!” Of course, the angel’s message was great news. Mary was “highly favored”…the Lord was with her…and she was blessed! God wants to give YOU this same message today. David said in Psa. 5:12, "For it is YOU God who blesses the righteous, O Lord; you surround him with favor as with a shield." God wants you to know that if you put your life in His hands, you are highly favored and blessed. He wants to reveal Himself as Emmanuel, the One who is always with you (Matt. 1:23). He wants to help you overcome fear like he did Mary who was on the brink of an incredible moment of God’s favor when the angel in Luke
