What a difference Christmas truly makes! God coming as Emmanuel to be WITH US for our benefit to provide miracles to help us close one year in life and start a New One with God’s plan, pardon and presence! This is made possible since at Christmas, God came to earth to show us how to live life! He displayed His purpose and power becoming like one of us. Because of this Matthew 1:18-26 shows:
YOU CAN EXPERIENCE THE MIRACLE
OF GOD’S PLAN IN YOUR LIFE
A. God has a much greater plan for your life than you can imagine! The problem with our world is that we have lost our wonder of the miraculous. We have spaceships, microchips, modern medicine but need a reawakening of our soul. That’s the value of the first Christmas that was full of the unexpected and extraordinary as Matt. 1:18 says, “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: when His mother Mary had been betrothed to
Joseph, before they (sexually and martially) came together, she was found to be with child of the Holy Spirit”. This miracle fact proves that God is able to do FAR MORE than we can imagine as it fulfilled many Old Testament prophecies:
• Isa. 43:18-19 “Do not call to mind the former things or ponder things of the past. Behold I will do something NEW; it will spring forth; will you not be aware of it?”
• Isa. 7:14 “Behold a VIRGIN will be with child and bear a son and she will call His name Emmanuel (God with us).”
• Isa. 55:9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways HIGHER than your way and my thoughts HIGHER than your thoughts!”
