One of the most wonderful things about Edinburgh is the fact it is so diverse, this is a city made of so many different elements; it is hard to believe that you’re still in the same city. As well as the easy to find landmarks, there is a hidden side to this city that can be completely overlooked by most. For anyone with a free day and the desire for adventure, the network of paths and walkways could be the best way for you to further explore this wonderful place. Make sure you have the essentials though, the most important of which being a camera.
The water of Leith walkway is a 12 mile wonder that begins in the Balerno area of the city and ends by the ocean terminal shopping centre in Leith. This wonderful walk has lots of appeal for most as it’s littered with beautiful scenery, picnic areas and fantastic spots for fishing. Due to the varying nature of this walkway, it can seen being utilised by the fitter among us as a
