The Code of Ethics is the set of fundamental principles and norms that guide the duty and normalcy to be fulfilled by collegiate professionals in the exercise of their profession and in acts related to it.
For an adequate understanding of what is considered contrary to the code of ethics of the College of Engineers of Venezuela, it is necessary to mention your articles without necessarily following the pre-established order, so that several articles can be grouped to then carry out an analysis common to its contents; as highlighted below:
Article First (virtues): Act in any form that tends to undermine honor, responsibility, and virtues of honesty, integrity, and truthfulness that should serve as the basis for a full exercise of the profession.
Article Two (illegality): Violate or allow laws, ordinances, and regulations related to full professional exercise to be violated.
Article Fifth (dispensation): Dispense, by friendship, convenience or coercion, the fulfillment of mandatory provisions, when the mission of your office is to enforce them and fulfill them.
Article Ninth (works): Take care of works, without having carried out all the technical studies necessary for their correct execution, or when the deadlines incompatible with good professional practice have been indicated for the realization of them.
