Gateway Kitchen and Bath designed a beautiful kitchen that is both timeless and open for ease of entertaining . The upper cabinetry features glass inserts on each side of the curved custom range hood with a wooden accent . The lower cabinets sit under a gorgeous quartz countertop that is not only beautiful but easy to maintain . This luxurious kitchen features an oversized island in a pewter color that helps balance the white cabinetry . To finish off this gourmet kitchen , we shopped at Canadian Appliance Source for our stunning KitchenAid appliances including the KitchenAid drawer under-counter microwave , gourmet range and a fridge that offers lots of storage .
Off the main area are the two kids rooms with large closets . Emilie ' s room was designed with lots of color to suit her vibrant personality and Ella ' s room was designed so that it grows with her as she transitions to her pre-teen and then teen years . A large closet between the two rooms became the perfect place for a convenient laundry space . We chose a stacking washer and dryer combo from Maytag ' s Pet Pro System . The Pet Pro filter in the washer removes 5x more pet hair while the XL lint trap in the dryer traps and removes additional pet hair . These features make it easier for us to control pet hair from our fur baby , Coco , in our new home .

Also off the living room is the main bathroom where we went for a high glam look grounded with natural finishes . We stopped by The Wolseley Studio to choose all our fixtures for our bathroom , ensuite and kitchen . The focal point for this bathroom is a gorgeous Topanga 48 " Single Bathroom Vanity Base in Walnut by Native Trails accented by a Riobel Riu single knurled handle bathroom faucet in brushed gold . The bathroom also features a Toto toilet and a deep MAAX Rubix bathtub with complementary MAAX sliding shower doors that frame in the MAAX Utile featuring a faux marble look with Riobel Riu Kit 1345 Trim in brushed gold and knurled lever handles , rain shower and hand wand fixtures .
