Higher Admin
Higher Admin students were testing out their classmates by creating revision quizzes using MS Forms to share with the class.
They then marked each other’ s responses and gave feedback.
Students then used their Word Processing and mail merge skills to create certificates for the top scorers to take home. Well done everyone!
Troon Primary Santa Letters
We were delighted to be able to partner with Troon Primary again to take part in one of our favourite festive projects! This year the was even bigger than usual with 4 classes of P2 and P3 students from Troon Primary writing to Santa and our S3 Admin & Events students using their mail merge skills to write personalised letters in return … on behalf of Santa and the Elves of course! A lovely way for our students to put their learning into practice. Mrs McCracken said:
Thank you so much for our letters. I think it was the best ever.
All four classes were so excited and have decided it was the elves that left the letters. It was magical for the teachers too and reminded us of what Christmas is about.
P7 Parent Welcome Evening
The P7 Parent Welcome Evening held on 25 November was a fantastic showcase of the very best of Marr College. Curriculum displays, hands on activities and the warm welcome offered by staff and students really highlighted what makes our school special.
