Step 18 Row 4: Place a small amount of Bakers Bond onto the top edge of the petal and position it onto the tree cone, making sure it overlaps the petals already in place. Use 6 petals in this row.
Step 19 Row 5: Using 5 petals in this row, arrange them slightly overlapping the last and glue them onto the tree, making sure the final petal is positioned correctly under the first petal.
Step 20 Final Row 6: Gently glue and position 5 petals into place, making sure the tops of the petals are touching and overlapping each other at the very top of the tree. Remove any excess fondant if there is a build up.
Step 21 Roll out the 100g of fondant to 2mm thickness. Cut out two circles using the 8cm sized cutter.
Step 22 Cut each circle in half so you have four semicircles. Take one half from each circle. On the straight cut edge, brush a thin line of Bakers Bond. On one semicircle, brush the left half. Stick its other half on top, slightly overlapping the centre straight edges. On the other semicircle, brush the right half. Stick its other half on top, slightly overlapping the centre straight edges.
