Row 2: Working your way up the tree, continue with the next row of petals, this time using 8 petals.

Row 3: Continue with the third row of petals using the same size cutter, this time arranging and gluing 7 petals into position.
Step 16 Next, roll out more of the fondant to approximately 2-3mm thickness and cut out 16 petals using the second largest peony cutter.
Step 17 Roll the petal using the textured rolling pin so it is imprinted and thinner. Gently thin the edges using the tip of your rolling pin on the foam mat. Place the petal draped over the apple tray. Lightly moisten the bottom edge of each petal with the Bakers Bond, then dip the petal into the pearl sugar. Dust off gently and place over the apple tray to shape and dry. Continue for all 16 petals.
