Step 4
Place your first layer directly onto the cake board , adhering with a small amount of buttercream . Using piping tip s / c 10 or similar , fill your cake with buttercream as well as any fillings you desire .
Step 5
Place the final layer of cake on top and now you are ready to decorate !
Step 6 Fill a piping bag with olive coloured buttercream and attach a no . 104 piping tip . With the larger end of your piping tip resting on the cake , pipe on angles to create the pine leaves .
Step 7 Continue to create the same shapes / leaves over and over , particularly around the edges of the cake , as this is where they will be seen the most .
