And it was memorable for me to have the fun party at my last board meeting as president . I was surprised at the buffet and the ‘ toast ’ had me in tears . The gavel is now in the hands of your 2023 President Cathy Loffink . She is joined by Kim Warram and Sharon Garrick , co-vice presidents , treasurer Marsha Wadsworth and secretary Sandy Esterson . I enjoyed meeting our new members and am very pleased at how many stepped up to get involved in committees . Remember all members are welcome to our monthly board meeting , the first Friday of every month at 10 a . m . in the Activity Center . This is an opportunity to hear committee reports . These committees work hard to provide us with fun scrambles , the championship tournament , the awards banquet , the Pink Ball Golf Tournament , the Niners performance and the Christmas gift wrap program . Our social members work hard to support all of these functions and are very creative with decorations .
A very special memory for me during my three years was the mural painting in the golf course bathrooms . We learned pictures were taken from the walls . At a board meeting we decided “ You can ’ t take a mural !” So I had fun finding Niner artists Kim Warram , Bobbi Christensen , and Cate VanValin ( Pat Tewell ’ s granddaughter ), and so many Charbonneau artists ! Please stop in and visit all the bathrooms ( even the Men ’ s ). Murals are spectacular and they are still on the walls !
When we got started , Cathy Loffink offered to help with this project . She said , “ Mary , I will help you prime the walls .” I said : “ What does Amazon have to do

are always looking for more gift-wrapping materials ; all donations are appreciated . We also have fun wrapping paper decorations for children ! Tell your family and friends . Remember to wear Christmas sweaters and Santa hats ( I bring extras ). We take pictures .
The first two years of the program was a great success ! We donated $ 3,000 to Wilsonville Community Sharing . This year we have chosen to support the Wilsonville senior center . Did you know that 27 % of those living in Wilsonville are 55-plus ! They have wonderful programs for seniors in need in the Wilsonville
COURTESY PHOTOS community .
This month the gift wrapping will be in the Event Center Dining Room . You can visit the Pro Shop and then come over to have gifts wrapped ! Remember to use your payouts ! They expire at the end of December .
For those not able to get to the Event Center for gift wrapping , we will be offering ‘ Pick Up and Delivery ’ of gifts for Charbonneau residents . And we will pick up gift-wrapping materials as well . Chris Bensel is working with the Wilsonville High School girls golf team to participate in the program this year .
