Research Agenda
Through grant opportunities and strong relationships with the academic community , DCS strives to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application . With the assistance of strong research partners and stakeholders , DCS is able to produce and participate in cutting edge projects that not only allow us to adhere to statutory requirements ; instead , through mutually-reinforcing partnerships we are able to embrace “ next practices ” that will shape the future of community supervision . As of this report , DCS has Four Research Agenda categories that encompass a total of nine research projects . To summarize they are as follows :
