A great honor for women in construction
The ceremony is organized by Rebuilding Together Broward County, a non-profit
organization dedicated to improving housing stock for low-income households. The
Celebrating Women in Construction awards are designed to celebrate the role and
impact of women in the construction industry, with Debbie Danto receiving her award
alongside notable figures such as Beth Azor of Azor Advisory Services and Traci Miller of
Miller Construction.
“It is a great honor to be receiving this award, particularly as it is in recognition of daily life
virtues such as integrity, dignity and community service,” says Debbie Danto. “These are
values that I try to live each and every day, and they are something I have worked hard to
embed in Danto Builders.
“As an industry that continues to under serve women in the workplace, it is a very special
moment for me to be recognized alongside other really great women in construction –
especially Traci Miller, who I have enormous respect for. Together I hope we can play a
part in creating more opportunities for women in construction. ”
