The team is led by Corey Poepping, sole owner of the business since 2016. Poepping has been with the company since its begin- ning as a family-owned company in 2000. He became more and more involved with the company, working alongside people “who were like another set of parents.” In 2008, he became a partner and bought the company outright in 2016. At the time, the company was located in the coun- try, scattered in different buildings. Poepping moved to a new location just east of Alexandria on County Road 82, bringing everything under one roof. He set up shop in a building with way more space than was necessary, thinking to grow into the space over time. “The business keeps growing; we’re bursting at the seams,” he said. Working alongside Poepping are Josh Seidel, Jason Ness, Ryan Cleland and Wendy Szech in management and his valued team members on his insulation and con- crete lifting crews. The equipment available to perform various jobs now includes five spray foam rigs and two blow-in rigs. The main product used is a two-pound closed-cell foam that is applied by spraying. Spray foam insulation saves up to 50 percent on energy costs. It completely seals and reduces noise. Indoor air quality is improved and condensation is eliminated. It adheres to wood, metal and concrete. “It has twice the R value and has more structural strength than open-cell foam,” said Poepping. With fiber- glass insulation used in one and spray foam in the other, the one with the spray foam will cost more but it will be a one- time payment for a lifetime of savings, Poepping said. “Qual- ity insulation is one of the few things in a new home that will give you a return on your in- vestment.” The company now also offers fiberglass batt insulation as well as blown cellulose, giving cus- tomers more options to work with.
