given them there funding. Then we have a person who looks after the membership side of the business and lastly of course we have a board of trustees.” Mollie: “Now I can really see there is not a lot of you at all. You must be so busy.” Kate: “yes we really are” Mollie: “ok, I’ll move on then” **laughter** Mollie: “As a charity what is the most effective form of marketing? I have obviously been looking on your website and one thing I really like is your videos.” Kate: “Yes our videos are really important to us, we produce a 2-minute video on each cause we support and that is really where we catch peoples eye. We also produce a brief paragraph about each cause but I can guarantee that no-one reads it. But, our main form of marketing is really our social media, I mean we have a lot of followers on Facebook and that’s where we post about the causes and our events.” Mollie: “yes social media is really great for getting your business out there cheaply. So I only have one question left really. How do you plan to grow Love Brum in the future?” Kate: “ok, so we are looking for a new director to come and join us who has a lot of charity experience and we are really excited for them to bring there new ideas and plans to the board. This is an really exciting time for Love Brum we have lots of plans, our main focus is growing our single membership. Currently, we have a really strong cooperate and patron membership. We want more singular memberships, which is why we have recently introduced the loyalty card. So with this loyalty card now there are many benefits to becoming a member of Love Brum, which you can find out about on our website. Another main aim for us is to begin to be able to support all three causes chosen each month. At the moment only one cause will receive funding. However, as the members vote for who should receive funding we have considered changing it to a 3 rd 2 nd and first prize. So everyone receives the benefits, of course we have to get more memberships.” Mollie: “That is great Kate, that’s all the questions I can think of at this time. But thank you so much for being such a big help to me.” Kate: “No worries Mollie, Good luck in your final major project and if you have any other questions please email me and I will try to get back to you a soon as I can.” Mollie: “Ok I will, thank you again this has been so helpful.” Kate: “Your welcome, Goodbye” Mollie: “Bye” **End of interview** 77
