Mollie: “Hello”
Kate: “Hello, is this Mollie Pearson”
Mollie: “Yes it is”
Kate: “Great, this is kate from love Brum”
Mollie: “oh hello Kate, great to hear from you”
Kate: “yes, I do apologise for how long it has taken to get to you, like I said in my email we
are so busy and very stretched with the amount of staff that we have”
Mollie: “oh don’t worry, I understand you are very busy people”
Kate: “ok, great well im here to answer any questions you might have”
Mollie: “yes great, ok, so my first question is, who is your target market?”
Kate: “Yes well anyone really, we rely heavily on our membership. We have three kinds of
memberships, cooperate that costs £500, patron that costs £3000 and single membership
that is just £20 per a year. Our cooperate and patron membership is aimed at Birmingham
based businesses looking to have a positive effect on the city, then the single membership is
aimed at everyone and anyone in Birmingham. We would love for everyone in Birmingham
to have a membership to make Birmingham a really great place. Also our patron and
cooperate membership pays for all our overheads so the single membership is great
because you know that 100% of your money is going directly to the causes.”
Mollie: “that would be lovely if everyone joined, can I ask, roughly how many members do
you think you have?
Kate: “It’s very hard to figure out exactly because businesses that have cooperate
memberships also have single ones, I would say including all three memberships we have
around 1000 memberships.”
Mollie: “That’s very impressive considering you have only been running for 3 years. So
another question, how does Love Brum operate as a business? I know you have already told
me there is only 3 of you in the office.”
Kate: “yes so there is Ashley our general manager, me and another office administrator,
someone who is in charge of taking care of the causes. See our relationship never really
stops with them, we give them guidance and tips even after we have promoted them and
