Caddick Construction has restarted work on the Rivington Chase housing development in Horwich, bringing renewed momentum to a long-delayed affordable housing scheme that forms part of one of Greater Manchester’ s largest regeneration programmes.
Construction is back underway at the former Horwich Loco Works, where Caddick Construction has been appointed to deliver 116 affordable homes as part of the wider Rivington Chase regeneration. The project marks an important milestone in the redevelopment of the historic railway engineering site, following a period of uncertainty after the previous contractor, Lane End Developments, entered administration in April 2023.
