105 adopts a pitched roof form that reflects the local architectural character while providing contemporary accommodation designed to support changing models of healthcare delivery.
Construction represents one of the largest healthcare investments currently underway in the Western Trust area. During a recent site visit, Health Minister Mike Nesbitt noted that the completed facility will improve healthcare provision for around 30,000 people across the East Fermanagh community by bringing a broad range of services together in modern accommodation designed to support multidisciplinary working.
Delivering the project requires careful coordination across a wide range of building services and clinical requirements. Modern healthcare facilities demand significant mechanical and electrical infrastructure, specialist ventilation systems, digital connectivity and adaptable treatment spaces capable of responding to future healthcare needs. These requirements are being integrated alongside the architectural design to create a building that supports both patients and healthcare professionals.
For Lowry Building & Civil Engineering, the Lisnaskea Health and Care Centre adds another significant public sector project to its portfolio. As construction continues, the development is steadily moving towards its goal of providing a modern healthcare environment that replaces dispersed and constrained facilities with a single integrated centre designed to serve the community for decades to come.
