77 deliver more than one million square feet of commercial and innovation space alongside new homes, transport infrastructure and public realm improvements over the coming decade.
The wider Crescent Salford masterplan covers approximately 252 acres and aims to deliver over 3,000 homes, major research and innovation facilities, office accommodation, retail and leisure space and a multi-modal transport hub. Salford Rise has been identified as a critical early infrastructure project supporting these future phases of development.
Manufacture and installation of metal railings, gates and pedestrian guardrail
Funding for Salford Rise includes £ 13.17 million secured through the Government’ s Levelling Up Fund, with additional support through regional transport and regeneration funding streams. The project is intended to support economic growth, job creation and improved access to education and employment opportunities across the city.
The scheme has also required significant traffic management and infrastructure coordination during construction. Frederick Road closures and phased works have been implemented to facilitate installation of the elevated structure and associated infrastructure safely within a live urban environment.
Salford Rise represents a major investment in sustainable urban infrastructure and public connectivity. By integrating transport, landscaping and regeneration objectives within a single project, the development is intended to support longterm transformation of the Crescent area and strengthen links between communities, education facilities and future commercial development across Salford.
Proud to support the Salford Rise Project
