Professional consultant support for the project included CREATE Architecture Ltd, QED Structures, Jensen Hughes Europe and Anderton Gables, alongside specialist fire engineering input. Coordination between designers, engineers and contractors was central to resolving unforeseen conditions uncovered during the strip-out phase.
Maintaining resident safety and minimising disruption formed a key part of the construction strategy. The occupied nature of the building required carefully managed phasing, maintained access routes and regular communication with residents throughout the programme. CBG Construction noted that clear coordination and resident liaison were critical to successful delivery.
The completed remediation works now provide One Horsham Gates with a compliant external façade system designed to satisfy current fire safety expectations and long-term building performance standards.
