Barnes Construction has worked extensively with Travelodge across London and the South East, with the Stratford project continuing a long-standing relationship between contractor and hotel operator. Prior projects delivered by Barnes include Travelodge developments in Wimbledon and Chiswick.
The building owner, Unex Group, agreed a 25-year lease with Travelodge as part of the redevelopment arrangement. Unex has owned the site for more than five decades and originally developed Gredley House as office accommodation during the early 1990s.
