Message from CUMUNA President
It ’ s April 2014 when we were asking ourselves “ why this kind of conferences ( MUN ) don ’ t take place in Chittagong ?” And then we realized superman won ’ t fly from USA to Chittagong to organize MUN Conferences . It is us who have to take the initiatives , and then we founded Chittagong University Model United Nations Association ( CUMUNA ), a platform that stands on passion , dedication , cooperation and professionalism .
Within nine months of establishment we organized our first MUN conference CUMUN 2015 . And 2016 is going to be started with second session of our dream project Chittagong University Model United Nations 2016 .
And happiness is we didn ’ t let our dream remain dream . We shaped it , we touched it and the success won hundreds of hearts . From the very beginning we aimed at global scenario . An Association of southern part of Bangladesh is now playing key role in whole South Asia , this big achievement has become possible only because of our promising members and well wishers of CUMUNA and CUMUN around the world .
Besides promoting the art of diplomacy , negotiations and leadership CUMUN focuses on the way of learning . We believe learning with fun is the best way of learning . CUMUN 2016 is a platform which fosters mutual respect , cooperation and skill development . Our vision is to create an intellectual generation which will be highly motivated in leadership and rule the world someday .
CUMUN always values their secretariat , delegates , executive board members , sponsors , other MUN entities and each and every stakeholder . You will always get CUMUN and CUMUNA as a dynamic role player and innovative change maker because we are promised to serve our beloved world .
